Parisar Asha conducted a free seminar and workshop on “Art of Learning for a Sustainable Tomorrow” for Ahmedabad Educationists in association with Vivekanand Institute of Management at IMA on 19^th Dec’15. More than 50 educationists from different institutions attended this workshop to understand the importance of integrating creativity into mainstream education for joyful learning and how Parisar Asha has been successfully achieving the same through it internationally accepted model ESAL (Environmental Studies Approach to Learning).

All the participants were exposed to experiential learning where they got to experience the different mediums of creativity and how theatre, art, music and creative writing can be employed potent tools to strengthen the teaching-learning system.

Parisar Asha academic, theater and art experts conducted this workshop where the participants were also educated about the new trends in education and most importantly the need of the hour is to provide a system which is not only registered by the brain and the develops the mind but should be sensitive and logical enough to make an indelible impression on the soul.

One of the participant reiterated that, “The entire experience was completely new for her and she learnt a lot about how to deal with a child’s psyche.” “I liked the methodical representation of the curriculum and I found the ESAL methodology very unique”, added another enthusiastic participant. Participants were overwhelmed by these new discoveries and they showed inclination towards incorporating these in the regular teaching process for a sustainable tomorrow.

CHHOTA  BHEEM  HAS A BRAND NEW AVATAAR FOR HIS UPCOMING FILM CHHOTA BHEEM- Himalayan Adventure

India’s favourite laddoo loving superhero, Chhota Bheem is the country’s most beloved cartoon character and the apparel, toys, games, comic books, stationery and other merchandise is a testimony to the Chhota Bheem’s popularity.

This winter, Chhota Bheem will be seen in a completely new and stylish avataar in Chhota Bheem – Himalayan Adventure, the official trailer for which was recently released.

The storyline follows Bheem to the snow capped Himalayan Mountains where he will not only enjoy some snow filled adventures but also take on the evil dacoit, Hidimbak. In keeping with the plot of the film, Chhota Bheem’s character was given a stylish new look and a lot of research went into this. The team who worked on the film even visited the Himalayas to study local customs and traditions in order to breathe life into the script.

Talking about the new look, Hyderabad based, Rajiv Chilaka, CEO, Green Gold Animation and the creator of Chhota Bheem said, “Children have a strong sense of loyalty to their preferences. Bheem is their trusted companion so any form of experiment with the character needs days of planning and research. We stuck to the colour scheme, which is earthy but gave Chhota Bheem a new look that fits his mountainous journey. He will be seen wearing warm clothes, jackets, breeches, caps, skiing goggles, and off course his skiing gear. We took more than a year of research and back end development to arrive at this look along with the storyline”.

Not only will Bheem’s friends, Chutki, Raju, Jaggu, Kalia, Dholu and Bholu join him on this Himalayan Adventure but they will also have their own jacket, scarf and warm mitten clad looks.

Chhota Bheem Himalayan Adventure- Synopsis

Chhota Bheem and his friends set out for a vacation to Manali where they intend to play adventurous sports in the snow clad mountains of the Himalayas. In Manali, the powerful & conniving Hidimbak has an evil master plan to loot the kingdom and usurp the throne. He is ably assisted by his smart nephew Ghatto and a group of strong goons.

As Bheem and his friends enjoy the snow games and learn to ski under the guidance of Sardar Negi, Hidimbak creates a scare again in the kingdom and the King of Manali, fed up of Hidimbak, commands to capture him at any cost. His most trusted soldier, Dhiru, and other guards try very hard but every time he escapes thanks to his super skiing skills and the brilliance of Ghatto.

Can Chhota Bheem and friends overcome the Himalayan challenges and help the king capture Hidimbak?

Chhota Bheem Himalayan Adventure – Cast

Chhota Bheem: Bheem a 9 year old, brave, strong, intelligent, adventurous and fun loving boy. Bheem loves food, his weakness being Tun Tun Masi’s delicious Laddoos, which gives him additional strength. Even though only a kid, Bheem is stronger than most men. A Robin Hood of Dholakpur, Bheem is always to the rescue of the poor and needy.

Chutki: Chutki is a 7 year old girl, graceful and intelligent. She is Bheem’s closest friend and loves to accompany Bheem on his adventures. She even helps him steal ‘ladoo’s from her mother’s sweet shop. Everybody loves Chutki for her generous, sweet and happy nature.

Raju: Raju is a cute 4 year old, who totally looks up to Bheem and idolises him. He follows Bheem everywhere and loves wrestling with him. Bheem is very protective of Raju. Raju’s rivals are the fumbling Dholu and Bholu, who like picking on him. Raju is extremely brave and tough for his age (like Arjuna) and is one of the very few children who is not afraid of Kalia Pahelwan. Raju’s father is a soldier in the king’s army and Raju dreams of becoming the commander of the king’s army some day. His strength, his is a fast runner.

Hidimbak:The villain of the movie. He is sinister, ruthless and utterly selfish. He has just one motive – to rule over Himachal Kingdom! And he won’t stop to achieve that goal. He is the best on Ski’s and has a skill of Sking backwords- a trait unknown to any other skiier in manali.

Jaggu:Jaggu is Bheem’s friend. Jaggu is a talking monkey and is of great help to Bheem whenever they are in the jungle. He supports Bheem and always accompanies him in his adventures. Jaggu is clever monkey with a great sense of humour. Jaggu and Bheem are always having fun, be it in exploring forests or in helping out people with their chores. He loves tricking Dholu, Bholu and Kalia. A favourite amongst the children as he always entertains and makes them laugh.

Kalia Pehalwan: Kalia or Kalia Pehalwan, is a 10 year old boy. His character is based on the Legendary Duryodhyan and hence, wicked by nature. He is bigger than Bheem and dislikes him. Since he is jealous of Bheem’s popularity and strength, Kalia always tries to make Bheem look bad and to land him in trouble. He picks on children younger and weaker then him to prove he is strong. All the children fear him because of his mean ways and huge body which, Kalia uses to his advantage. Kalia has two silly followers, Dholu and Bholu, who either sometime help him in his plans or completely abandon him.

Talking about the new film, Samir Jain, producer added, “Bheem is our star character and anything around him becomes very special for us. It also means more hard work where we have to continually reinvent and challenge ourselves. We wanted to come up with a film with a winter theme. This is a holiday and festive season so we really wanted to scale up Bheem’s adventures to give our audiences something fresh. The setting is perfect and now we can’t wait for the film to release”.

Audiences can watch Chhota Bheem in an action packed and thrilling mountain adventure when Chhota Bheem Himalayan Adventure releases on January 8th, 2016.

Actor Sohail Khan will now bowl maidens over, albeit on a different pitch! Sohail Khan and Parvez Khan, a prominent Dubai-based business tycoon and owner of property developers Pacific Ventures, have roped in Michael Vaughan, one of cricket’s most celebrated batsmen and former Captain of the English cricket team, as Team Director and Player of the Capricorn Commanders, one of the teams that will see action in the T20 Cricket Masters Champions League in Dubai. Vaughan was picked up by the Commanders in the pre-auction bid for the legends and was part of the strategizing unit for the Commanders for the Auction purchases as well. He will also act as the Head Coach of the Capricorn Commanders.

Vaughan will be joined by Usman Afzaal, former England International, as Assistant Coach. The Capricorn Commanders will be competing with five other teams in the tournament billed as the League of the Extraordinary, as competing squads have on their roster some of the sports’ most celebrated superstars.

Mumbai, 21^st December, 2015:More than 100 members of the Industry attended the Sansui COLORS Stardust Awards held at the Reliance Jio Gardens in Mumbai. Paying homage to the hard work put forth by the Indian Film Industry in 2015, the glitzy awards night witnessed a celebration of the commercially successful and critically acclaimed movies that have set incredibly high benchmarks in the year gone by.The splendid night brought together leading and prominent names from the silver screen, whose entertainment quotient reached unparalleled heights with some spectacularperformances.

The Red Carpet witnessed the presence of the entire film fraternity, as actors likeAmitabh Bachchan, ShahRukh Khan, Kajol, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shahid Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Richa Chaddha and Nimrat Kaur, including power couple Nita and MukeshAmbani came together to applaud the achievements of 2015. Hrithik Roshan to feat for his next Deodrant TVC as a saviour for girls featuring two super models playing their respective roles for this Big TVC. Aditya Singh Rajput the top model of advertising will be seen playing a super cool brat  and Angela Krislinzki who again have featured almost with all top Bollywood actors and been doing some sizzling south songs lately plays a beautiful girl next door. She plays a positive girl where as Aditya Singh Rajput plays a negative brat in the TVC with a super interesting twist how she is saved by Hrithik Roshan in the TVC. 

It’s a super funny and cool concept, Angela said and she can’t wait for the TVC to go on air.

The TVC is again casted by one of the top casting directors Neha Bhattar. Aditya Singh Rajput says working with Neha is always super fun. Mannrangiya is musical presentation through Dramatics and poetry with content of emotional and social behavior of human being, it creates an awareness and relationship of conscious and sub conscious mind and it’s perspective of action-reaction, it’s a thought provoking social drama.

Concept of our Play : This Play is all about Human Emotions. According to BHARTMUNI’s Natyashatras we are presenting NAV – BHAV’s and it’s a perspective. Rangla & Rangli are main Narrator and they are presenting 9 stories with the help of Music & Dance. It helps to introspect & betterment of life through emotional behaviour. Mannrangiya is an artistic presentation with dance, music and drama, near about 16 actors (including 6 Females).

Mumbai : Exclusive pictures of Ranveer Singh sporting the Bajirao Mastani look with artists of Rambo’s International Circus Festival

The artists and members of Rambo Circus and the neighbourhood were in for a pleasant surprise to have a favoured member of Bollywood visit them at their Bandra Camp.

Recently, Ranveer Singh was shooting in the camp of Rambo Circus.  Since the circus is  running an International Circus Festival here in Mumbai, the place is buzzing with artists from other popular circuses around the world participating in the event.

Even though Ranveer kept a low profile during the shoot, he displayed great sense of humility towards the artists and their families who he chanced upon at the camp.  Most of them dared not interrupt or disturb. But a lucky few artists who shot with him were left utterly besotted by him.  Besides his charismatic and oh-so- Bajirao look that he carries with aplomb, they were left humbled  and awed with his encouraging and supporting applause after each act and shot.

“ Ranveer ji, ne hamara hosla badaya aur hamare kartab ko khub saraya (translation : Ranveerji, boosted our morale and supported us with his applause ) “ said Davron from Russia who speaks  fluent Hindi.

Ranveer also offered to take selfies with the artist.   Samir an artist from Azerbaijan is pretty pleased to take back with him fond memories of his first visit to India and having  had an opportunity to perform with  a popular Bollywood artist.

IITC (India International Trade Centre) that excels in vocational courses and having branches all over India, conducted a Fashion Workshop on 16 December 2015 exclusively for the fashion designing students of IITC at Hotel Leela. The workshop was hosted by popular emcee and stand up comedian Umesh Pherwani and the students interacted with professional fraternities from the Fashion Industry.

The upcoming track of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah will see Dilwale Shahrukh and Kajol spread some cheer in Gokuldham society.  In the coming episodes Tapu will fall into trouble when his friend throws a paper rocket at a teacher in college. The teacher confiscates his college ID card as she suspects that it is Tapu’s prank and asks him to get his parents to college.

Tapu is now in a fix as Jethalal had warned him that he will not entertain any complaints from his college. He decides to convince Popatlal and take him to college making him pose as his father. Popatlal complies after much hesitation. Popatlal on the other hand receives a marriage proposal and has to go meet the girl’s family. He decides to take Jethalal and Daya along with him to meet his prospective wife. Popatlal meets Tapu’s teacher posing as his father and then straight heads to meet the girl’s family. All hell breaks loose when Popatlal realizes that the teacher was the prospective bride.

The girl rejects Popatlal and that leaves him heartbroken. That is when Shahrukh Khan and Kajol come to Gokuldham society and try to cheer him up. Shahrukh tells him that just like he was united with his Dilwali, Popatlal  too will soon find his life partner.

Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s latest film “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, which garnered positive response from the audience, bagged four awards at the BIG Star Entertainment Awards 2015.

The film’s lead actress Sonam Kapoor got the BIG Star Most Entertaining Actor – Female in a Romantic role. The film also bagged an award for the BIG Star Most Entertaining Romantic Film Of The Year.

Apart from this, singer Himesh Reshammiya walked away with the BIG Star Most Entertaining Music award for the Salman Khan-starrer. Singer Palak Muchhal received an award for BIG Star Most Entertaining Singer (Female) for the same film that has a royal tale.

Palak made the show’s host Bharti Dubey do the signature step of the film’s title track, for which she won the award.

Shoojit Sircar’s “Piku”, a slice-of-life film, got three awards for different categories at the ceremony. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a quintessentially Bengali man in the film, was honoured with the BIG Star Most Entertaining Actor in a Drama Role (Male). Deepika Padukone, who essays the role of his selfless daughter, won the BIG Star Most Entertaining Actor in a Drama Role (Female). “Piku” won the BIG Star Most Entertaining Drama film.

Amitabh thanked the writer of “Piku” Juhi Chaturvedi, along with the entire star cast for making such a film.

Actor Varun Dhawan, who has proved his versatility with his performance in the action-thriller film “Badlapur” – bagged two awards – BIG Star Most Entertaining Actor in a Thriller Role (Male) and BIG Star Most Entertaining Actor in an Action Role – Male/Female, for which actors like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Akshay Kumar were also nominated.

A number of Bollywood celebrities including Salman, Deepika, Ranveer Singh, Varun, Kabir Khan, Remo D’Souza and Saroj Khan graced the awards ceremony, held here on Sunday.

This eternal love story is directed by Divya Khosla Kumar and has actors Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam, and Urvashi Rautela in pivotal roles. Sanam Re personifies the word love with the most romantic pair of Yami-Pulkit as the lead couple. Opposed in his wishes by his Son, he finds help from an unlikely source, a Ahmedabadi Rickshaw Driver.

Actress Shradha Sharma of Big Boss fame to end year with a jig in Jaipur

In between the departure of the old year and the advent of New Year lies something in the midnight for which everyone waits with bated breath, to welcome the New Year with open arms. This year Jaipur is in for some latkas and jhatkas of Bollywood’s dancing doll Shradha Sharma who will be performing live in the city on New Year’s Eve.
