Delivering hope and critical eye care to all at affordable costs – Shree Ramkrishna Netralaya
Vision problems and blindness due to multiple eye complications are on the rise amongst the Indian population – mainly due to cataract, diabetes retinopathy, glaucoma and other issues. It is a serious concern for a country that already has the largest population of blind people in the world, of over 8 million. The reason behind such a large population suffering from vision problems is the lack of even basic health care facilities to people who live in the poorest parts of the countryand cannot afford healthcare cost because of poverty. If access to timely treatments would have been possible, a large percentage could have been prevented from going blind.
Knowing this fully well, Shree Ramkrishna Netralaya (SRN) has been treating the population for various eye related problems since 2003 not only in Mumbai but also holding regular eye camps in the interior parts of the country in association with NGOs. During the period of two decades since SRN was established in 2003, the institution’s constant endeavor has been to provide international eye care services across its four facilities located in Mumbai, at Thane, Mulund, Vashi and Seawood. SRN has full NABH accredition. SRN works closely with CGHS and Ex Servicemen health scheme.
The SRN mission has been the dream of Dr. Nitin Deshpande, a highly qualified eye specialist and chairman, who along with his team of qualified doctors has performed over 50,000 surgeries in the past 20 years and earned the trust of over one lakh patients. Cumulatively the team has over 150 years of experience in providing critical eye care treatment. Says the Chairman, “Today the second generation of young doctors are working in close tandem with each other and are providing world class services and surgeries at affordable prices. Shree Ramkrishna Netralaya’shighly capable team of specialists provide comprehensive eye care to every section of the population at our centres and in the rural areas at very reasonable costs, compared to our peers.”
SRN has a holistic approach to eye care. For vision problems has an economical cost too. Timely treatment of vision problems helps prevent blindness and increases access to education for children, besides it helps access to employment and prosperity, and enables greater participation in civil, social and political life among the adult population. A report by NGO Orbisreleased on the World Sight Day, has found that between 2019-20, the loss to gross national income due to blindness in adults would be Rs 9.06 lac crore and Rs. 3.31 crore for children – for 10 and 40lost working years respectively. This includes the loss of economically productive years for both the visually impaired and their care-givers.
SRN is equipped with latest diagnostic and surgical equipments to cater to all patient needs under one roof. The Ophthalmologists in the hospital are specialists in the fields of cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, lasik surgery, lasik vision correction and more. The hospital is dedicated towards providing a high-class eye care service to one and all. Concludes Dr Deshpande, “Having served thousands of patients with quality eye care, we find ourselves humbled in gratitude for being able to deliver hope and promise in every eye that sees us. ग्लोबल कायस्थ कॉन्फ्रेंस ने 27 विभूतियों को दिया महादेवी वर्मा स्मृति सम्मान
नयी दिल्ली, 26 मार्च ग्लोबल कायस्थ कॉन्फ्रेंस (जीकेसी) ने महान कवियित्री, सुविख्यात लेखिका, पद्म विभूषण और पद्म भूषण सम्मान से अंलकृत महादेवी वर्मा की जयंती 26 मार्च के अवसर पर महादेवी वर्मा स्मृति सम्मान समारोह – 2022 का आयोजन किया, जिसमें अलग-अलग क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय योगदान देने वाली 27 विभूतियों को महादेवी वर्मा स्मृति सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया।
जीकेसी की प्रबंध न्यासी श्रीमती रागिनी रंजन की अध्यक्षता में स्व. महादेवी वर्मा की जयंती के अवसर पर सत्याग्रह मंडप, गांधी स्मृति एवं दर्शन समिति, राजघाट, नई दिल्ली परिसर में महादेवी वर्मा स्मृति सम्मान समारोह – 2022 का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत दीप प्रज्जवलन, भगवान गणपति और भगवान चित्रगुप्त चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित कर की गयी। इसके बाद इसके बाद राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी और महादेवी वर्मा के चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित किया गया। श्रीमती जया श्रीवास्तव ने भजन वैष्णव जन तो तैनी कहिये गीत पेश किया। इस अवसर पर बतौर मुख्य अतिथि संदीप मारवाह, सुमन कुमार, ज्ञानेन्द्र रावत, प्रिया मल्लिक और माया कुलश्रेष्ठ निगम मौजूद थी, जिन्हें मोमेंटो, पुष्पगुच्छ और अंगवस्त्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया। जीकेसी दिल्ली के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सुनील कुमार ने स्वागत भाषण दिया। कार्यक्रम का मंच संचालन प्रतिष्ठा श्रीवास्तव ने किया।
इस अवसर पर जीकेसी के ग्लोबल अध्यक्ष राजीव रंजन प्रसाद ने बताया कि जीकेसी कायस्थ समाज के शैक्षणिक, आर्थिक, सांस्कृतिक विकास के साथ-साथ उनके उत्थान के लिए प्रयासरत है। इसी के तहत प्रख्यात लेखिका एवं उपन्यासकार स्व. महादेवी वर्मा की जयन्ती के अवसर पर महादेवी वर्मा स्मृति सम्मान-2022 ,समाज के लिए अपने अमूल्य योगदान देने वाली 27 विभूतियों को दिया गया है। उन्होने बताया कि महादेवी वर्मा छायावादी युग की प्रमुख कवयित्री मानी जाती हैं। आधुनिक हिंदी साहित्य में महादेवी वर्मा मीराबाई के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुईं। आधुनिक गीत काव्य में महादेवी वर्मा जी का स्थान सर्वोपरि रहा तथा उन्होंने एक गद्य लेखिका के रूप में भी अपनी ख्याति प्राप्त की।आधुनिक हिन्दी की सबसे सशक्त कवयित्रियों में से एक होने के कारण उन्हें आधुनिक मीरा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।महादेवी वर्मा जी एक मशूहर कवियित्री तो थी, इसके साथ ही वे एक महान समाज सुधारक भी थीं।
जीकेसी के ग्लोबल महासचिव अनुराग सक्सेना ने बताया कि सुप्रसिद्ध कलाकार अंजन श्रीवास्तव और रमेशचंद्र श्रीवास्तव को लाइफ टाइम अचीवमेंट सम्मान दिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि सामाजिक कार्य के क्षेत्र में डा. नम्रता आनंद, अविलाला श्रीधर, अलका श्रीवास्तव, अनुज श्रीवास्तव, पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र में कमल किशोर, राजीव रंजन और प्रेम कुमार, शोध एवं लेखन के क्षेत्र में उदय सहाय, विवेक भटनागर, संगीत के क्षेत्र में श्रुति सिन्हा, डा. रंजन कुमार, देवांश चंद्रा, शालिनी श्रीवास्तव, सुबोध नंदन सिन्हा, जया श्रीवास्तव, श्रेया बसु, उत्कृष्ठ शैक्षिक योगदान के लिए प्रो. My name is Anju Kumari Behera, and I am a 24-year-old. Due to my distinctive philosophy, I am appreciated for thinking above the boundaries of society and family. Netra Patil – I am 14 years old, Netra Patil, born in the city of weavers, Malegaon. Presently I am reside in Nasik. In standard 8th, I secured 92% in Nashik Cambridge School. Passion for our work is essential for success in any endeavour. My passion for achieving motivates me to push myself every day and gain new abilities that will help me do better work. I am a self-driven individual with a strong desire to succeed.. I enjoy a challenge and set goals for myself on a regular basis so that I have something to strive towards. I’m not content with mediocrity, and I’m continuously looking for methods to improve and attain excellence.
I must admit that I am a sports freak. I enjoy anything and everything related to sports. By nature, I’m a competitive person who strives to be the best version of myself. I’ve obtained a broad grasp of various sports and their strategies over the last few years. In the fields of sports like long jump, spirits, and others, I have earned ten medals and numerous certificates. This keeps me motivated and also fit.
In today’s environment, studies are essential, and I understand the value of academics. I enjoy studying and becoming engaged in a book. For several events and exams, I received numerous medals and certificates, for example, essay writing, math olympiad, etc.
I first participated in a fashion show in 2021, when I began my journey. I did so just because I enjoyed it, not because I had a goal in mind, and then I won 1st runner up at Stardom India kids fashion show 2021; from there, I gained confidence and hope in my inner mind that yes, I have the potential in me and I can do this. After this, as an encouragement booster, I also gained 2 nd second place in the Miss Teen Universe 2022 held at WE Hotels in Pune. I aspire to become a successful actress and a model.
The modelling field is a diversified one, and it will enable me to channel my preferred style while maintaining my individuality. The variety of styles available makes the job exciting and motivating, and it’s in this diversified, high-energy setting that my enthusiasm for modelling will blossom. I enjoy how, as an actress, I can take on different characteristics and portray them in my unique way. I believe this allows me to be more sympathetic and empathic toward the people I encounter in my daily life. It has given me more self-assurance and inventiveness in all I do. Every time I perform, I enjoy the surge of nerves and excitement I have before taking the stage. It simply motivates me to give my best effort.

कम उम्र से अभिनय के क्षेत्र आयी कात्यानी अपना काम पूरी लगन से करती रही। अपनी कामयाबी की मंजिल पाने के लिए वो आगे काम करती रही और कभी पीछे मुड़ कर नहीं देखा। अपने मंजिल तक पहुंचने के लिए कात्यायनी ने पूरे आत्मविश्वास और धैर्य के साथ एक एक कदम आगे बढ़ाया। बचपन से ही अभिनय के प्रति प्रगाढ़ रुचि ने उन्हें पंजाब से दिल्ली तक पहुँचाया। जहां इन्होंने टीचिंग और मॉडलिंग का काम किया। फिर अपने कैरियर में नया पड़ाव लाने के लिए मुम्बई में आकर अपना अभिनय सफर शुरू किया। मुंबई में इन्होंने कई शॉर्ट फिल्म, विज्ञापन, फिल्मों और धारावाहिको में काम किया। सावधान इंडिया और क्राइम पेट्रोल के कई भाग में इन्होंने काम किया है। ज़ी टीवी पर प्रसारित धारावाहिक ‘दो सहेलियां किस्मत की कठपुतलियां’ में मीरा का किरदार निभाया था। बालाजी के धारावाहिक ‘करम अपना अपना’ में मुख्य भूमिका निभाई है।
अभिनय में निखार के साथ कामों में अधिकता आयी और वह दक्षिण भारत की ओर निकल पड़ी। यहाँ किस्मत ने इनका भरपूर साथ दिया और उन्हें दक्षिण भारतीय फिल्मों में काम करने का मौका मिला। फ़िल्म ‘ट्रैप’ में ब्रम्हा के साथ इन्हें काम करने का मौका मिला। यह फ़िल्म और इनका स्वयं के द्वारा निभाया किरदार इन्हें बेहद पसंद है। कात्यायनी ने तमिल फिल्म ‘पार्वतीपुरम’ में मुख्य भूमिका निभाया। जिसे हिंदी में डब किया गया और इस फ़िल्म का नाम ‘शिवशक्ति’ रखा गया। अभिनेता श्रीहरि के साथ इन्होंने फ़िल्म ‘शिवकेशव’ मुख्य भूमिका में काम किया। कात्यायनी ने दो वेब सीरीज़ में भी अभिनय किया है।
इनकी आगामी फ़िल्म जल्द ही रिलीज़ होने वाली है। फ़िल्म और ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म में आगे भी वह काम कर रही है। कात्यायनी का कहना है कि लगन से अपना काम करते रहना चाहिए लेकिन जो आपका दिल नहीं माने ऐसे कामों के लिए समझौता ना करें। फ़िल्म अभिनेत्री रश्मिका मंदना का अभिनय इन्हें पसंद है। अभिनेता में नागार्जुन, अल्लुअर्जुन इनके पसंदीदा अभिनेता है और भविष्य में इनके साथ काम करना इनकी ख्वाहिश है। गोविंद नामदेव का भी ये बहुत सम्मान करती है।
अभिनय क्षेत्र में जब इनकी शुरुआत हुई तो गोविंद नामदेव के सानिध्य में अभिनय की बारीकियां सीखने का इन्हें मौका मिला। हिंदी फिल्म ‘कॉलेज कैम्पस’ और ‘लव क्रॉस’ में वह अपने अभिनय का जादू बिखेर चुकी है। अभिनय के क्षेत्र में कात्यायनी हर प्रकार का चैलेंजिंग किरदार निभाना चाहती है। अभिनेत्री दिव्या भारती इनके दिल के करीब है। लव स्टोरी और वूमेन ओरिएंटेड फ़िल्म इन्हें पसंद है और भविष्य में वह महिला प्रधान फ़िल्म में मुख्य भूमिका करने के लिए उत्साहित है। विगत पंद्रह वर्षों से वह फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री में काम कर रही है साथ ही उनका कहना है कि यदि आप आपने काम को पूरे ध्यान और लगन से करें तो सफलता अवश्य मिलेगी।

Giants Group Of Pune Metro he did many projects like Save Girl Child, Blood Donation, Eye Donation, Tree Plantation, helping underprivileged students by giving them schoolbooks, school uniform and free tuition to the underprivileged students. He also helped old age home Nivara in Pune by spending 4 hours with them and doing empathic query of old age home residents at Nivara, when he came to know they have shortage of food grains, Shantanu provided them food grains as well as medical kit to take care of their health.
Shantanu Bhamare released various awareness videos for Indian Citizens at large during high peak Corona times which started in the country in March 2020. Immigration Officer Major Matar Aids Distraught Indian Family in the UAE
Not all heroes wear capes- in fact, they can even be a law enforcement official. This gentleman in question is immigration officer, Major Mohammed Ahmed Matar, who made it his mission to help a distraught Indian Expat’s family in the UAE even after his duty hours.
The Indian family had faced an emergency when the expat, his wife and child were travelling to India to visit the wife’s grandmother, who was in critical condition.
“We were rushing to the airport,” the expat stated. “All was going smooth during our check-in at Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) airport. But when we proceeded to the Immigration counter, we never expected the scenario that came in front of us.” The immigration officer at the desk explained the expat that his child’s visa had already expired, however, the expat believed that it was valid until the next year. This mishap resulted in the immigration team advising the distressed family to visit the Dubai office to sort the issue, and that they could not board the flight until the issue was resolved. However, the family did not believe that they could travel to Dubai and get back in time to RAK to board their flight.
As a last resort, the family travelled to Dubai to sort the issue. “When we reached the Al Tawar Office, the receptionist asked us to visit the main branch instead to solve the issue. Being absolutely exhausted from the day’s events, I requested her to help us in some way.” The family were then directed to a gentleman who was finishing his duties.
It was then that the patriarch explained his issue to Major Ahmed Matar, who actively listened to the man’s woes. “He went back to his office and came back out after a few hours, telling me that it would be solved, and that I could fly back home in the next 24 hours”, the expat stated. The family was relieved, but money was also an issue, given that the family of 3 they were not able to get a refund for their last flight.
“Now the issue was the money to buy tickets for all three of us to travel. As I was leaving the office, Major Matar pulled out his wallet and gave me enough cash to travel back home,” the expat said. “He is a real hero whom we cannot forget. He went beyond his duty hours to help us and discuss the issue personally.”
This scenario displays yet another heroic deed by the UAE’s exemplary government officials, who are the unsung heroes of the nation. The UAE continues to help expats all over the country, with an approach that is characterised by kindness, respect, and tolerance.

Based on the documented threats of the patient Putin and the inhuman war unleashed on his orders in Ukraine, I demand from the UN an official statement of the fact of the insanity of citizen Putin. I demand not to carry out the orders of Putin as incompetent. For those who will transfer Putin to doctors, I demand a guarantee of freedom, as the saviors of the world. I demand an amnesty for all those who, by deceit or coercion, served the inhuman system created by the mentally ill Putin. I demand an immediate stop to all military operations of the Russian army in Ukraine and in the world. I demand an immediate withdrawal of troops from all occupied territories in Ukraine. I demand democratic elections in the Russian Federation under international control, the complete demilitarization of the Russian Federation, and the Marshall Plan for the integration of the Russian Federation into the post-war global economy,” explained Andrei Lubalin (alias Avinash Puri).
It is important to note that the implementation of this scenario involves preventing the inevitable and uncontrollable chaos in the Russian Federation due to unprecedented international sanctions. This issue is no less important.

उल्लेखनीय है कि प्रगति एंटरटेनमेंट वर्ल्ड, श्री माँ फ़िल्म प्रोडक्शन के बैनर तले निर्मित की जा रही भोजपुरी फिल्म तीन दीवाने का निर्माण बिग लेबल की जा रही है। निर्माणाधीन इस फिल्म में केंद्रीय भूमिका में गौरव झा, विशाल सिंह और सीपी भट्ट हैं। फिल्म की नायिका प्रीति मौर्य और सपना सिंह हैं। उनकी कमेस्ट्री फुल तू धमाल और फुल एंटेरटेनिंग होगी। साथ ही समर्थ चतुर्वेदी और देवेन्द्र कुमार भी सशक्त भूमिका में नजर आने वाले हैं। अभिनेत्री जे नीलम और कॉमेडियन साहब लाल धारी अपने चिरपरिचित अंदाज में दर्शकों का खूब मनोरंजन करने वाले हैं।

Sonu Nigam and Mika Singh shared the stage after many years in the program organized in memory of Bharat Ratna Lata didi, which was organized by the Nrityacharya Pandit Gaurishankar Foundation. This foundation has been honoring all the eminent top classical artists. Many living legends including Zakir Hussain, Shivkumar Sharma, Birju Maharaj, Sitara Devi have been honored by the foundation. The event was a tribute to India’s Swar Kokila Lata Mangeshkar Ji, well managed by IMEU Events Pvt Ltd. It was an amazing event. Many top VVIPs appeared here.

Many celebrities including Sonu Nigam, Mika Singh, Anuradha Paudwal, Agam Kumar Nigam, Talat Aziz, Jaspinder Narula came here to remember Lata Mangeshkar. RJ Anurag Pandey successfully anchored the show. The concept and direction of this show was by Virendra Shankar. The event was managed by IMEU’s Virendra Shankar, Mayank Shankar.
Anuradha Paudwal sang many songs of Lata Mangeshkar like Ajib Dastaan Hai Yeh, Yeh Sama Hai Yeh Pyaar Ka in this spectacular program.
Mika Singh while talking to the media told that legends never die, they are always alive in our hearts. Lata didi was also one such legend, to present her tribute, this wonderful program was organized in which Sonu Bhai (Sonu Nigam) was also present and many more people came. Lata Mangeshkar was a university of singing, a sea, it is very difficult to sing her songs. I sang one of her songs on stage here “Bahon mein chale aao”.

Noted music composer Dilip Sen said that I was fortunate to have worked with Didi in two films, Aaina and Yeh Dillagi.

A group of 16 contemporary artists from Gujarat and Maharashtra will showcase their latest paintings and sculptures in Hirji Jehangir art gallery, M.G. मायानगरी केवल अभिनेताओं की नहीं अपितु रुपहले पर्दे के पीछे की भी दुनिया है जिसे लोग नज़रअंदाज़ कर देते हैं। लेकिन पर्दे के पीछे के इन्हीं लोगों की बदौलत रुपहला पर्दा चमकता है। इस पर्दे के पीछे निर्देशक, निर्माता, मेकअप आर्टिस्ट, जूनियर आर्टिस्ट, डांसर, लाइट मैन, टेक्नीशियन, स्पॉटबॉय, मजदूर और ना जाने कितने लोग शामिल रहते हैं। इन पर्दे के पीछे के नगीनों का चयन कर दादासाहब फाल्के फाउंडेशन अवार्ड उनकी योग्यता को परख कर सम्मानित करता है। ऐसे ही हीरों को हौसला दिलाने वाले नवीन राह दिलाने वाले हैं अशफाक कोपेकर।
अशफाक कोपेकर दादासाहब फाल्के फ़िल्म फाउंडेशन के अध्यक्ष हैं। वर्तमान में वह स्क्रीन राइटर ऑफ इंडिया असोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष भी हैं। साथ ही इंडियन फ़िल्म डायरेक्टर असोसिएशन के साथ भी जुड़े है। इसके अलावा अशफाक कोपेकर विभिन्न असोसिएशन के साथ जुड़े हुए हैं। जहाँ वे फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री से जुड़े हुए लोगों के साथ विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के लोगों की भी सहायता करते हैं और उन्हें उचित प्लेटफार्म भी मुहैया कराते हैं।
उनका मुख्य कार्य लेखन और निर्देशन है। इतने वर्षों से फ़िल्म उद्योग से जुड़ कर वह अनोकोनेक कार्य करते जा रहे हैं।

प्रश्न – आप कब से फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री से जुड़े हैं?
उत्तर – उन्नीस सौ तिरानवे से मैं फ़िल्म उद्योग से जुड़ा हुआ हूँ। जिसमें फ़िल्म उद्योग के रुपहले पर्दे और उसके पीछे जुड़े विभिन्न कामों को करता आ रहा हूँ। जैसे फिल्मों का निर्देशन, लेखन आदि कार्य।
प्रश्न – आपकी पहली शुरुआत कैसी रही और आपने क्या कार्य किया?
उत्तर – मुख्यतः मेरा मूल कार्य लेखन और निर्देशन है। मेरी पहली धरावाहिक ‘आजादी की ओर’ है और धीरे धीरे अपने कार्यों से आगे का पड़ाव चढ़ता गया।
प्रश्न – आप विभिन्न असोसिएशन से जुड़े हुए हैं इस बारे में व्याख्या करेंगे?
उत्तर – वर्तमान में स्क्रीन राइटर ऑफ इंडिया असोसिएशन का अध्यक्ष पद पर हूँ साथ ही दादा साहब फाल्के फ़िल्म असोसिएशन का अध्यक्ष हूँ। इंडियन डायरेक्टर असोसिएशन जैसे कई असोसिएशन के साथ जुड़ा हूँ और साथ मिलकर कार्य भी कर रहा हूँ।
प्रश्न – विगत कुछ वर्षों से दादासाहब फाल्के फ़िल्म फाउंडेशन के आयोजन ना हो पाने का क्या कारण है?
उत्तर – दादा साहब फ़िल्म फाउंडेशन अवार्ड का आयोजन ना हो पाने का मुख्य कारण कोरोना प्रोटोकॉल है। विगत दो वर्ष से कोरोना महामारी के कारण सरकार के आदेशनुसार भीड़ इकट्ठी करने की मनाही थी। जबकि हमारे अवार्ड शो में बत्तीस से भी ज्यादा असोसिएशन का साथ होता है और एक असोसिएशन से बीस से पच्चीस लोग शामिल होते हैं। बिना असोसिएशन के सदस्यों के अवार्ड नहीं कर सकते साथ ही फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री से जुड़े सभी लोग रहते हैं ऐसे में भीड़ बढ़ जाती है। लगभग हजारों लोगों को इकट्ठा करने का सरकार द्वारा आदेश प्राप्त नहीं है जिस कारण यह कार्यक्रम करने में कठिनाई हुई। हमारे ही नहीं इस कोरोना प्रोटोकॉल के कारण कई असोसिएशन के कार्य में बाधा आयी है। वैसे इस बार हमारी असोसिएशन का प्रयास है कि सरकार से आदेश प्राप्त कर अवार्ड का आयोजन किया जाए।
प्रश्न – आप दादासाहब फाल्के फ़िल्म फाउंडेशन के लिए योग्य उम्मीदवार का चयन कैसे करते हैं?
उत्तर – इस अवॉर्ड में केवल हमारे असोसिएशन का ही कार्य नहीं होता बल्कि लगभग बत्तीस से ज्यादा असोसिएशन हमारे साथ जुड़े हुए हैं। वे ही हर क्षेत्र से चुनाव कर योग्य अवार्डी का नाम रिकमेंड करते हैं। साथ ही हमारे ज्यूरी मेम्बर भी होते हैं जो चयन प्रक्रिया में साथ निभाते हैं। यह चयन पूर्णतः निष्पक्ष और बहुमत के आधार पर होता है। इसमें योग्यता के आधार पर चुनाव कर निर्णय लिया जाता है। इसमें किसी पदाधिकारी का हस्तक्षेप नहीं रहता।
प्रश्न – यह अवॉर्ड किन क्षेत्र विशेष को दिया जाता है?
उत्तर – इस अवार्ड में सिल्वर स्क्रीन में दिखाई देने वाले लोगों से पहले जो फिल्मी पर्दे के पीछे काम कर रहे हैं उन लोगों का चयन कर अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया जाता है। साथ ही उन्हें ग्यारह हजार की राशि और अन्य सहायता भी प्रदान की जाती है। फ़िल्म निर्माण से जुड़े मेकअप मैन, डांसर, जूनियर आर्टिस्ट, टेक्नीशियन आदि इस अवार्ड में शामिल होते हैं।
प्रश्न – दादासाहब फाल्के फ़िल्म फाउंडेशन अवार्ड की शुरुआत कैसे हुई अभी वर्तमान में दादा साहब के नाम से कई अवार्ड हो रहे हैं। आप इस बारे में कुछ मार्गदर्शन देना चाहेंगे?
उत्तर – दादासाहब फाल्के फ़िल्म फाउंडेशन अवार्ड हम बहुत पहले से करते आ रहे हैं। पहले इसका नाम दादा साहब फाल्के एकेडेमिक अवार्ड था बाद में इसका नाम परिवर्तित किया गया है। यह अवार्ड हमने दादासाहब के जन्मदिन के अवसर पर उनकी स्मृति और सम्मान में शुरू किया है। दादासाहब के नाम के इस अवार्ड को शाहरुख खान अपने ऑफिस में सामने रखते हैं, जबकि उनके पास अवार्ड्स की कोई कमी नहीं है। हाँ, वर्तमान में इस नाम से कई अवार्ड शो चलाये जा रहे हैं लेकिन मुझे उनसे कोई गिला नहीं क्योंकि वे अपनी आजीविका या प्रसिद्धि हेतु यह कर रहे हैं। किंतु जो वास्तविक है वह वास्तविक रहेगा कोई उसका मुखौटा लगाकर पूर्ण जीत प्राप्त नहीं कर सकता। वास्तविकता वो भी जानते हैं और अंजाम भी, अतः अपना कार्य पूर्ण यत्न से करते रहो।
प्रश्न – आप स्टार मेकर्स के लिए भी कार्य कर रहे हैं इस विषय की ओर आपका ध्यान कैसे गया?
उत्तर – हमारा असोसिएशन स्टार मेकर्स द्वारा चयनित योग्य और अच्छे गायकों को गाइड करता है और उचित प्लेटफॉर्म मुहैया कराता है। हमारे देश में योग्यताओं की कमी नहीं है। अभिनय और गायन क्षेत्रों में तो प्रतिभाओं का कोई सानी ही नहीं है। लॉकडाउन के दौरान हमने सोचा कि देश की इन प्रतिभाओं को मौका दिया जाए। जो भी स्टारमेकर्स के गायक हम तक पहुंचते हैं, हम उनकी सहायता करते है। खंडवा की तरुणा शुक्ला जो आल इंडिया रेडियो में गाती थी, उसे उसी के होमटाउन में गायन के क्षेत्र में प्लेटफॉर्म मुहैया कराया गया। उससे ‘लोरी’ गीत गवाया गया और डिजिटल प्लेटफार्म तक पहुंचाया। हाल ही में वडोदरा की वसुंधरा पंड्या को भी मौका दिया गया है। ऐसे ही नवीन और योग्य गायकों को मौका देकर उन्हें एलबम, फ़िल्म, शार्ट फ़िल्म आदि में गायन का मौका दिया जाता है और उनका मार्गदर्शन कर नया रास्ता देने की कोशिश की जाती है।
प्रश्न – दादासाहब फाल्के फाउंडेशन में क्या क्षेत्रीय स्तर के कलाकारों या फिल्मों को स्थान दिया जाता है?
उत्तर – जी, हमने अपने असोसिएशन के तहत क्षेत्रीय ही नहीं पड़ोसी देशों को भी भाग लेने का अवसर दिया है। बांग्लादेश और नेपाल से योग्य लोगों का चुनाव किया है। अलग अलग प्रांतीय क्षेत्रों से भी दो- दो योग्य लोगों का चुनाव भी किया जाता है। जो अलग अलग विभाग से होते हैं जैसे टेक्नीशियन, आर्टिस्ट आदि। इन्हें पुरस्कार के साथ धनराशि भी दिया जाता है और जल्द ही इनके इन्शुरेंस और पेंशन प्लान देने के बारे में भी विचार किया जा रहा है।
प्रश्न – क्या आप राजनीति में भी प्रवेश करना चाह रहे हैं?
उत्तर – नहीं, राजनीति में मेरी कोई रुचि नहीं है, मैं सर्वधर्म सर्वभाव में विश्वास रखता हूँ। मेरा मुख्य उद्देश्य मानवता के लिए हितकर काम करना है। मैं सभी को मानवतावादी दृष्टि से देखता हूँ ना कि धर्म विशेष जानकर। मैं दहिसर में ओम्कारेश्वर साई मंदिर ट्रस्ट का चैयरमेन हूँ तो वहीं बोरीवली में मस्जिद कमिटी में भी शामिल हूँ।
प्रश्न – युवा लोग जो मायानगरी के चमक को देखकर आते हैं किंतु कहीं खो जाते हैं आप उनके लिए क्या कहना चाहेंगे?
उत्तर – अगर आप कुछ करना चाहते हैं तो अपना स्वास्थ्य पर ध्यान दो। स्वस्थ तन है तो स्वस्थ मन होगा। स्वस्थ मन आगे बढ़ने के लिए हौसला और संयम प्रदान करेगा। ऊंचाई पाने के लिए शॉर्टकट नहीं अपनाओ अपने काबिलियत पर भरोसा कर धैर्य के साथ आगे बढ़ोगे तो मंजिल जरूर मिलेगी।

The concept of ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park Art Festival’ was introduced by Shri. Aditya Thackeray, the Minister of Environment and Tourism. It was the first of its kind to be held with the aim of providing a comprehensive platform for students and artists.The event was attended by lakhs of visitors in 3 days.
The fest also featured Bollywood playback singer Hrishikesh Chury’s ‘Live in Concert’. He performed on the stage in front of the scenic views of Dadar Beach and Bandra Worli Sealink. His soulful voice mesmerized the audience.
Hrishikesh Chury said, ‘CSMP Art Festival’ was a comprehensive and artistic event organized in Mumbai with a large participation in various events. The response from the audience was overwhelming. I am happy to perform here”.

In the Miss India contest, Mrs. Rashmi Agarwal was the first runner up (Silver Class) while Komal Kataria was declared the first runner up (Golden Class). Miss India 2022 Seema Suryavanshi was the winner while Mrs. India Preeti Amnerkar was adjudged silver class and Anita Dattani in golden class, Dr. Chandra Kala Gothwal was adjudged the winner in platinum class. Fashion TV School of Performing Arts (SOPA) South Delhi has associated with India Cult Men’s Fashion Week for conducting their auditions at their South Delhi branch. For the first time in history, Fashion TV SOPA South Delhi has collaborated with India Cult Men’s Fashion Week. FTV SOPA’s South Delhi branch couldn’t have been a more perfect place to conduct an audition for one of the biggest fashion weeks happening in the men’s segment. The fashion week will be taking place at Srinagar, Kashmir on the 26th and 27th of March. This marvelous concept was driven by the minds of Gaurav Gupta, Kosi Bhati, and Adnan Shah, the partners of India Cult Men’s Fashion Week.
The auditions were judged by esteemed names of the fashion industry John Marya, Bharat Reshma, Santanu Bose, Kapil Gauhri, and Auchitya Thakur. They auditioned around 120-150 talented male models who had appeared for the audition. Thamina Habibi, the COO of FTV SOPA, South Delhi, and consulting CEO Mr. Parimal Mehhta took the initiative for this event, handholding with India Cult Men’s Fashion Week. The juries will be showcasing their designer collections on 26th and 27th March in Srinagar with India’s most talented male models.

Sangeeta Babani has become a well-known name in the abstract and realism art world. Raised in Spain, this artist’s musings veer from figurative to semi-abstract depiction, surrealism to semi-realism, as the mood takes her. Babani was amongst the first to paint on cars as she does not believe in limiting her canvases only to a white paper frame. She worked with Tata Motors, BMW, Jeep and Mercedes Benz. She has held numerous exhibitions in India and displayed her work in London, Paris and Dubai and showcased an 18 feet Installation called The Lost Art. The accomplished Artist was awarded for her Contemporary work in Paris (France) in 2017.

Babani recently launched an exhibition titled ‘Fairy Tales’ at Jehangir Art Gallery showcasing different cities around the globe manifested in bright and vibrant colours. With the theme ‘Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale’, the artist aimed at creating a mood of happiness and calm.
Sangeeta Babani says, “I create landscapes and urban settings in a surreal and fairy-like manner. The images are from my visits to many lovely areas of the globe and I manifest the image with an infusion of bold and vibrant colours to create a mood of happiness and calm. I try to paint happiness because I believe art should leave a viewer with a positive feeling. My Art is all about celebrating daily life, appreciation for different cities and culture, they are expressions of scenes I thought were beautiful, intersections of places and time that I experienced and a desire to create a better World and it convinces people to enter in this new World. Through my paintings, I want to convey the message of enjoying the journey, as that’s the secret to our brief transit in the world.”

Where it is the dream of every parent to make their children a doctor or a good officer by giving them a good education, there is also a society where their daughters are pushed into business like prostitution by the family. And that society is barren and fetters. Two films were announced in Mumbai by film directors Neeraj Singh and Shraddha Srivastava, both films are based on very sensitive issues, one film depicts the oppression of women in the name of tradition in the Banchhada community, while the other film is the story of religion conflict. Regarding the issue of conversion taking place in Film director duo Neeraj Singh and Shraddha Srivastava, who are in discussion about their films, have already made Bikroo Kanpur Gangster together, while now together with filmmaker Dharmendra Singh, they are making a film on these two sensitive subjects. Talking about the story of the film, the story has been written about the background of Uttar Pradesh and Neeraj Singh, Shraddha Srivastava and Amit Chaturvedi have written it after doing a lot of research. The shooting of the film Banchhra will be held in Lucknow from March 28, while after finishing the shoot of Banchhra, the team will go out to shoot Dharma Dvd. The film is being produced by JD Film Production House Pvt Ltd and Waft Studios. The co-producers are Kunal Srivastava and Amrik Singh Mann, while the film’s creative directors are Sanjeev Trigunayat, executive producer Avi Prakash Sharma, associate producer Rajkamal Singh Tarkar, cinematographers Rajkamal Gupta and Rajkiran Gupta.

Film writer and director Neeraj Singh and Shraddha Srivastava is writing and directing a film named Banchhada- journey of a prostitute about this business of prostitution, which is running in the name of false practice in the Banchhada society. Neeraj Singh told that he is working on two films together. Film director Neeraj Singh said that the story of both his films is based on sensitive subjects, one exposes the prostitution taking place in the name of tradition, while the other film, whose name is Conversion, shows the religious conversion taking place in the world. The film shows how religious conversions are taking place globally. There are many states in India itself where people of different community incite to convert to another community saying that they are not safe in their religion.
Film director Neeraj Singh said that he has co-written the story of the film with his co-writer and director Shraddha Srivastava, while the film is being produced by Neeraj Singh and Dharmendra Singh himself, with Rajkamal Singh Tarkar co-producer of Banchhada. Neeraj Singh is known for making films on sensitive subjects, before this he directed Bikru Kanpur Gangster which was based on the life of gangster Vikas Dubey. He had to face many threats for the film Vikas Dubey. Nimai Bali, Mithilesh Chaturvedi and Javed Haider are in the lead roles in the film Banchhada, while the casting for the conversion is still going on. Banchhada – Journey of a Prostitute is being produced by JD Films Production House Pvt Ltd and Waft Studios , whereas the Dharm Dwand itself will be produced by Neeraj Singh’s home production house Waft Studios.

With the pandemic crises easing out, the distinctive filmmaker Alok Shrivastava whose focus is completely on telling great stories to the audience and making his actors outshine the characters they play, Is now gearing up to launch his next venture. His last release as a producer and director was End Counter in 2019 featuring Prashant Narayan, Mrinmal Kolwalkar, Abhimanyu Singh and others. The film was critically appreciated and did average business at the ticket windows. The film also received immense response from the viewers on OTT platform.
“If there is one thing we all learnt during the pandemic; it is the need to adapt. In the last couple of years, the OTT platforms have come in a big way and the filmmakers are all embracing it due to the closure of cinema halls. Digital platforms too have become instrumental in content and talent. It had not only given a break to new or less appreciated talents but is also bringing a diverse range of projects,” says Alok Shrivastava.
Shrivastava further adds, “My film End Counter had actors who were considered rank outsiders in the film industry. Abhimanyu Singh had made his debut with great films like Aks followed by Gulaal, Rakta Charitra , Genius, Mom and others while Prashant Narayanan is known for his roles in films like Waisa Bhi Hota Hai – II, Shadows of Time, Bombil and Beatrice, Via Darjeeling and _Murder 2. Despite getting rave reviews, and praised for their performances; their struggle did continued to get the work they deserved. It was the Southern film industry that beckoned their talents. Time and again established and semi-established actors from Bollywood migrate to Tollywood and then again come back to the fore.”
He further says, “It may also be noted vice-versa where actors from the South like Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan and Nagarjuna after doing great films in various southern languages had to re-launch themselves in Bollywood. Likewise Prashant Narayan and Abhimanyu Singh after doing big budget films could not create their space among the audience and went to the South. After carving a niche there they decided to bounce back but were offered miniscule roles.”
Alok Shrivastava also opines that the director is the captain of the ship and it is his responsible to extract laudable performance from the actors living within the characters. “Today I am proud that both my actors are doing notable works. Abhimanyu Singh got a meaty role in Sooryavanshi while Prashant Narayan is playing an important role in_Mai_ and Rangbaaz 2 streamed on ZEE5,” reveals Shrivastava.
Alok Shrivastava had earlier produced films like Phool Aur_Aag with Mithun Chakraborty and Jackie Shroff; Guru Mahaguru with stalwarts like Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri and Jaane Hoga Kya? featuring Aftab Shivdasani and Bipasha Basu amongst others. He has also forayed into direction with The Unsound featuring Shadab Khan.
The filmmaker started his career with television serials. Fassana was aired on DD Metro and continued for 200 episodes. His next was Aurat Teri Yahi Kahaani, which completed 350 episodes, _Zamane Ko Dikana Hai and Durga successfully completed 400 and 200 episodes. He has done several commercials too. His banner PK Arts Creation produced Woh Kaun Thi? He also made a successful Marathi film Miss Match was made under the banner of Gold Coin Entertainment.
