New Delhi, December 4 – On the occasion of its fourth anniversary, which coincides with the world Disability Day, The Bridge India organised a series of events to mark the occasion yesterday.

These included a Panel Discussion, the Grand Finale of Kaun Banega Social Sector Champion 2021, and felicitation of the Heroes of Humanity. The multiple events were presided over by the Chief Guest Mahavir Sharma, Entrepreneur and an angel investor from Rajasthan.

Introducing the event, Seema Jairath, heading The Bridge India said that the organisation had filled the long-felt need to bridge the gap between the NGOs and the Corporate sector to transform society. She said it its four years it had emerged as a multidisciplinary think-tank in providing advisory support to Civil Societies & Corporates.

The Panel Discussion was particularly relevant as it dealt with issues of participation of persons with disabilities in a world post COVID-19 situation.

The Bridge India in its mission to promote Sustainable Development Goals initiated an innovative way of promoting it by organizing on line quiz Kaun Banega Social Sector Champion 2021

The 3 Winners of the Second edition of Quiz were from Indian Oil Corporation, Mumbai, SAIL, Bhiali and Indian Oil , Haldia who were given gift vouchers of 30K, 20 K 15k. Quiz Deepak Taneja keeping the audience engaged in his style. The event was sponsored by Newgen, Style Mantra , Rang Ragini and Airon.

The purpose of the panel discussion was to dig a little deeper into some of the challenges faced by people with disabilities, and see how collectively it could be mitigated. The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted lives of people living with disabilities in many ways. Some of them were Accessibility, loss of livelihood and many such.

Concluding the fruitful session, the moderator Vikas Kataria from WaterAid India warned that if we society did not accept PWDs as equal stakeholder and beneficiaries of development, we as a country would not achieve the sustainable development (SDG) for all! There is surely a need to creating more awareness towards the needs of PWDs, and even greater to invest on innovative solutions, finding greater participation or mainstreaming in all the spheres of operations and more investments in the friendly infrastructure as well. He said “If we ignore this, we do so at our own peril”.

On this occasion The Bridge India also felicitated Heroes of Humanity who had been short-listed.

For this six Persons with Disabilities from different states who had done incredible work in the field of disability and had now become role models for others were honoured on this occasion on the occasion of World Disability Day.

The real life Heroes selected for this honour were Ragevendra Ratnakar Anavekar ,(Belgaum), Dr. Ritesh Sinha  (Karnal Haryana), Mr. Gunasekaran (Tamilnadu, Chennai) Himanshu Arora (Delhi) ) Priyanka Hasija (Gurgaon) Abdul Wahab  (Assam).

Recent work of a well-known artist from Jaipur, Bhim Singh Hada in oil on canvas in a realistic style have been displayed in a solo art exhibition in Jehangir art gallery, M.G. Road, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai 400 001 from 28th December, 2021 to 3rd January, 2022 between 11 am. To 7 pm.

Bhim Singh Hada popularly called Artist of the Maharajas is a reputed artist from Jaipur who has a mastery and skill in creating realistic work in oil and other mediums also. He is a self-taught artist but has been blessed with artistic talent and aesthetic instinct and command over the medium and techniques used for aesthetic adornment of his works with the expected visual effects at the strategic arenas.  He has so far showcased his works in many reputed art galleries at Mumbai, Manama, Jaipur, New Delhi in solo and group art exhibitions and has often received good public response and appreciation from the present art world at various venues and art galleries of national and international reputation.  He has been awarded for his outstanding contribution to visual arts by many reputed art promotional institutions at several venues.

The present series showcases his latest works in oil on canvas in a realistic style that illustrates the true culture, heritage, music and architecture at several historical places in Rajasthan in his own style and technique.  The various works present Amber Palace, Jaipur, good picturesque view observed from Aravali range of mountains, Elephant Ride, Royal processions, various dresses/draperies and ornaments worn by ladies in that region, their emotional mindscapes and social lifestyles, old buildings, forts, various places of historical importance which gives a glimpse of royal heritage and traditions in vivid regions. Not limited to forts and palaces, Hada has painted vivid life of Rajasthan its wildlife, temples at Mandor, folk musicians etc.  He has not only depicted the royal culture of Rajasthan, but also its traditional heritage at strategic arenas in his works which are not only amazing and picturesque but also pleasant and visually mesmerizing.  He has truly presented a realistic kaleidoscope of Rajasthan via various vignettes of art, culture, traditional heritage, music, natural beauty at several places, architectural details of many old buildings, castles and forts of historical relevance and importance using his visual language of expression incorporating apt colour combinations, icons/motifs and several ingredients of thematic significance in proper perspectives of visual arts.

Renowned artist from Jammu KK Gandhi is showing his paintings exhibition “Fragrance of My Soil” in Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai from 28^th December 2021 to 3^rd January 2022. Between 11am to 7pm.

Every Individual perceives and constructs things in his perspective and the desire for expression is a natural part of human culture. An artist projects what he gains through knowledge and experience to build a connection with the beholder. In this process of understanding the painters navigate through inner/outer spaces of experiences to the actualization of the material forms and structure. At first glance of a spectator, while looking into K.K. Gandhi’s painting is a kind of refreshing experience. As his paintings are immersed with the natural landscape, colourful forms, figures, open spaces which provide a sort of soothing to the mind and soul. And invites journey to the spectacular landscape of artists Homeland, which is always gravitating attention of all lovers of arts and beauty.

Mr. Gandhi has completed more than 15 years in the field of art. And he always keeps interaction live with contemporary painters to enhance his understanding of visual language. The realistic style of painting according to the artist is the language of common people and can easily connect. As people are accustomed to looking at physical reality as a powerful tool in imbibing aesthetic pleasure.

Visual narration that painter love to work and express is landscape, the structure of Himalayan mountains, nomadic peoples and past monuments / history of Dogra culture. Working on these subjects Mr.  Gandhi feels much connected to his roots. Himalayan series works are rich in intensity, saturated tones, dark hues and bold strokes express artists’ passionate search for meaning into the subject and object conversation into a visual format.

One of the paintings of the artist titled “Journey Within” wherein Buddhist Monk is shown walking amid mountains without any attention to materialistic thoughts. His focus is on the vast cosmos painted in Violet, grayish tones. The magnificent aura of the space has captured the soul of the saint as if inviting the soul to merge back into his source. The nothingness, the source of all that is seen and articulated in sense-perception and beyond.

श्री केजरीवाल ने आज तालकटोरा स्टेडियम में ग्लोबल कायस्थ कॉन्फ्रेंस की ओर से ग्लोबल अध्यक्ष राजीव रंजन प्रसाद की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित विश्व कायस्थ महासम्मेलन का उद्घाटन करते हुए कहा कि राजनीति तथा सत्ता में पद केवल धर्म और जाति के आधार पर नहीं दिया जाना चाहिए बल्कि योग्यता तथा गुणवत्ता को भी समुचित सम्मान देना चाहिए । उन्होंने कहा कि पूरे राष्ट्र में योग्यता और गुणवत्ता के मामले में कायस्थों से तुलना नहीं की जा सकती ।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि देश में जब – जब किसी प्रकार का संकट आया है या लोकतंत्र पर खतरा उत्पन्न हुआ है तो कायस्थों ने बढ़-चढ़कर अपनी भूमिका अदा की है ।उन्होंने सर्वसमाज को आगे बढ़ाने तथा शैक्षणिक – सांस्कृतिक प्रगति में कायस्थों से    अग्रणी भूमिका निभाते रहने की अपील की ।

पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री एवं सांसद रविशंकर प्रसाद ने कहा कि कायस्थ समाज की विशिष्टिताओं को किसी को बताने की जरूरत नहीं है बल्कि उसे भरपूर आदर और सम्मान देने की आवश्यकता है । उन्होंने दुनिया भर में कायस्थों से एकजुट होकर सर्वसमाज के लिए कार्य करने की अपील की ।

इस अवसर पर पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री एवं प्रख्यात अभिनेता शत्रुघ्न सिन्हा ने कहा कि विश्व कायस्थ महासम्मेलन से कायस्थों के एकजुट होने का स्पष्ट संकेत मिलता है और आज जिस प्रकार से यहां देश के विभिन्न राज्यों तथा अन्य देशों से कायस्थों के प्रतिनिधि जुटे हैं उससे पता चलता है कि अब हमारे राजनीतिक अधिकारों एवं हितों को नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता ।

कार्यक्रम के आरंभ में आगतों का स्वागत करते हुए ग्लोबल कायस्थ कॉन्फ्रेंस के ग्लोबल अध्यक्ष राजीव रंजन प्रसाद ने कहा कि हम विश्व कायस्थ महासम्मेलन के माध्यम से देशभर में बड़ी संख्या में फैले कायस्थ परिवारों को उनके राजनीतिक, आर्थिक शैक्षणिक और व्यावसायिक हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए अपनी बुलंद आवाज को सत्ता तथा  राजनीति के गलियारे तक पहुंचाने के लिए एकजुट हुए हैं ।

उन्होंने कहा कि जो कायस्थ हित की बात करेगा, जो कायस्थ हित का सम्मान करेगा , कायस्थ उसके साथ रहेगा ।

श्री प्रसाद ने कहा कि ग्लोबल कायस्थ कॉन्फ्रेंस जीकेसी पूरी दुनिया में कायस्थों का सबसे बड़ा संगठन बनकर उभरा है और देश के लगभग सभी राज्यों समेत 20 से अधिक देशों में इसका गठन हो चुका है । जीकेसी की ओर से शिक्षा , रोजगार, व्यापार, कला- संस्कृति , खेल, कृषि, पर्यावरण आदि के क्षेत्र में कायस्थ युवाओं   तथा महिलाओं  की भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए निरन्तर  कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं ।आज यही कारण है कि जीकेसी अपने गठन के केवल 11 महीने के भीतर विश्व कायस्थ महासम्मेलन आयोजित करने में और  सभी राज्यों से बड़ी संख्या में कायस्थों की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने में सफल हुआ है ।

ग्लोबल अध्यक्ष राजीव रंजन प्रसाद ने कहा कि कायस्थों के समग्र हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए जीकेसी निरंतर अभियान चलाते रहेगा और उन्हें उनके समुचित हक एवं अधिकार के सशक्तिकरण के लिए काम करेगा ।

पूर्व सांसद संजय निरुपम ने कहा कि कायस्थों का इतने बड़े पैमाने पर महासम्मेलन आयोजित होना यह स्पष्ट करता है कि अब हमारे हितों को कोई नजरअंदाज नहीं करेगा और हम सब संगठित होकर राजनीतिक के अलावा आर्थिक , व्यापारिक एवं शैक्षणिक अधिकारों को लेकर रहेंगे । कार्यक्रम में आप के सांसद संजय सिंह ने कहा कि स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के अलावा देश की प्रगति में कायस्थों की विशिष्ट भूमिका रही है और राष्ट्रहित में इस समाज के लोगों पर अब विशिष्ट जिम्मेवारी सौंपी जानी चाहिए ।

कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए सुप्रसिद्ध अभिनेता अंजन श्रीवास्तव , प्रख्यात अभिनेता शेखर सुमन एवं उनके सुपुत्र अभिनेता अध्ययन सुमन ने कायस्थों को संगठित होकर कार्य करने की जरूरत पर बल दिया और कहा कि जब हम संगठित हो जाएंगे तो कोई भी हमें कमजोर समझ कर नजरअंदाज करने का प्रयास नहीं करेगा ।

प्रबंधन की रागनी रंजन ने राष्ट्र संगठन में महिलाओं की भूमिका को बेहद महत्वपूर्ण बताया और कहा कि महिलाएं जब आगे आ जाएंगे तो कायस्थों का हर तरह से सशक्त होना सुनिश्चित हो सकेगा ।इस दिशा में महिला सेल के कार्यों की उन्होंने सराहना की ।

विश्‍व हिंदु महासभा के राष्‍ट्रीय अध्‍यक्ष एवं धर्मगुरु स्‍वामी चक्रपाणी जी महाराज ने कायस्‍थों से जीकेसी के तहत अपनी खोई हुई प्रतिष्‍ठा को फिर से हासिल करने का आह्वान किया। उन्‍होंने कहा कि कायस्‍थ समाज को आर्थिक रूप से सबल करने के लिए भी एक रोडमैप तैयार करने पर बल दिया। स्‍वामी जी ने युवाओं को नौकरियों के साथ-साथ तकनीकि एवं व्‍यापार के क्षेत्र में बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्‍सा लेने की अपील की।

जहांगीर आर्ट गैलरी में 13 दिसम्बर तक वर्ल्ड क्लास कलाकारों की चलेगी प्रदर्शनी

भारत की आज़ादी के अमृत महोत्सव के उप्लक्षय में ललित कला अकादेमी द्वारा मुम्बई के जहांगीर आर्ट गैलरी मे 13 दिसम्बर, 2021 तक “द्वितीय अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय प्रिन्ट द्विवार्षिकी भारत” का आयोजन किया गया है जिसमें भारत और विदेशों के कलाकारों की 149 कलाकृतियाँ प्रदर्शित की गई हैं।

इन सैकड़ों चित्रों में से ज्यूरी मेम्बर्स द्वारा 5 कलाकृतियों को अवार्ड के लिए चयनित किया गया और चीफ गेस्ट महाराष्ट्र के गवर्नर श्री भगत सिंह कोशियारी, गेस्ट ऑफ ऑनर गोपाल शेट्टी लोकसभा सांसद और ललित कला अकादमी के चेयरमैन डॉ उत्तम पाचारणे के हाथों पांच कलाकारों को एवार्ड से नवाजा गया। प्रोफेसर जयप्रकाश जगताप को लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड दिया गया।

राष्ट्रगीत से भव्य कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत जहांगीर आर्ट गैलरी मुम्बई में हुई। देश के पहले सीडीएस जनरल बिपिन रावत, उनकी पत्नी और सेना के 11 अन्य अधिकारियों की हेलीकॉप्टर हादसे में हुई मौत पर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए यहां 1 मिनट का मौन रखा गया।

कलाकार सोमनाथ होर के जन्मशती वर्ष के उपलक्ष्य में उनकी जीवनी पर लिखी गई किताब का विमोचन हुआ।

उसके बाद ललित कला अकादमी के चेयरमैन डॉ उत्तम पाचारणे ने यहां तमाम लोगों को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि तमाम विजयी कलाकारों को बधाई। पिछले 60 वर्षों से अधिक समय से कला और कलाकारों के प्रोत्साहन के लिए ललित कला अकादमी अपने कला कार्यक्रमों, गतिविधियों एवं योजनाओं के माध्यम से कोशिश करती आ रही है। अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय प्रिन्ट द्विवार्षिकी एक ऐसा ही प्रयास है जिसके द्वारा राष्ट्रीय और अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर के छापाकला कलाकारों को कला प्रदर्शन के लिए मंच प्रदान किया जाता है। छापाकला पूरे विश्व में प्रसिद्ध है। देश-विदेशों में इस विधा की अपनी महत्ता है इसलिए इस द्विवार्षिकी के आयोजन के माध्यम से अकादेमी छापाकला के कलाकारों को अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय मंच प्रदान करती आ रही हैं। अभी यह प्रदर्शनी 13 दिसम्बर तक है, कला प्रेमी इन चित्रों को खरीदें और कलाकारों का हौसला बढ़ाएं क्योंकि जबतक यह पेंटिंग्स बिकेंगी नहीं तो कलाकारों की रोजी रोटी कैसे चलेगी। उनके दर्द को समझते हुए हमने 2 लाख के 5 पुरुस्कार आज दिए हैं।

यहां 5 चित्रकारों को ज्यूरी की ओर से 2-2 लाख रुपए के नकद इनाम से नवाजा गया। महाराष्ट्र के गवर्नर भगत सिंह कोशियारी के हाथों सभी विजेताओं को सर्टिफिकेट,शॉल और ट्रॉफी से नवाजा गया। उन 5 खुशनसीब चित्रकारों के नाम हैं जगदीश्वर राव, चंद्रशेखर वसंतराव वाघमारे, दुर्गादास गाराई, सुषमा यादव, मोहम्मद फखरुल इस्लाम मजूमदार। इनके अलावा 12 और चित्रकारों को ऑनर से नवाजा गया।

सांसद गोपाल शेट्टी ने यहां कहा कि इस तरह के प्रोग्राम में आकर मुझे बहुत अच्छा लगा। सभी को धन्यवाद। कला को आगे बढ़ाना है तो हमें कलाकारों की हिम्मत को बढ़ाना होगा। उत्तम पाचारणे जी ने इस तरह कलाकारों को पुरुस्कार राशि देने के लिए जो कार्यक्रम रखा वह वाकई बधाई के पात्र हैं। तमाम पुरुस्कृत चित्रकारों को मेरी ओर से भी हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं।

महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल श्री भगत सिंह कोशियारी ने कहा कि ललित कला बड़ी चीज है। कला को समझने के लिए अपने अंदर कला का होना जरूरी होता है। हम सब के अंदर कोई न कोई कला होती है। गोपाल शेट्टी राजनीतिज्ञ हैं यह भी एक कला है। कलाकार बड़ी तपस्या के बाद कुछ क्रिएट करता है। मैं कलाकारों से यही कहूंगा कि कला के क्षेत्र में आकर अपनी आत्मा डाल दें।

We are keen to know your journey to world of Cinema. How has it been to be known as a Film director?

-It has been an interesting journey. I have come from the Visual media background. So for me it’s a dying need to make a film. It just occurs to me naturally. I feel that Cinema is a powerful medium and can help in conveying interesting stories and concepts that, I have come across, to my audience.

Filmmaking is a laborious job. So what keeps you motivated?

-For me, film making is not a laborious but a creative job. You are a like a craftsman. It’s a creative process. When you see an art form taking shape which you’ve envisioned, the sheer joy you derive out of it is beyond expression. That is something which keeps you motivated.

As a filmmaker, who are your sources of inspiration?

-Christopher Nolan and James Cameron

How much importance do you give to the script of the film before signing up the project as a director?

-The ground should start from the script. It is a main ingredient. Therefore I work closely with a writer of the film right from the beginning and work on minute details of the script. I would prefer to work on dark stories.

And how about casting?

-Indeed it is important. If the script is the foundation then cast is the body of the film. The people you select for the roles make the proper body of the movie. This implies i-depth research. You should feel that this character is going to play this role apt or is just the one made for that role. At this stage half the battle is won.

What projects do you have coming up?

-Naira, Silbon, The Hara-kiri, One is a company-two is a crowd.

Do you think that Indian Cinema is evolving?

-Yes to a greater extent. After Covid pandemic, Cinema is going Digital. We see huge opportunity in OTT platforms. Fresh content is going to play a key role and new talent is going to help filmmakers too.

Is the taste of audience changing too?

-Yes. Very much. Days of the rosy dream sequences are gone. Today’s audience believe more in realistic and factual content.

Whom would you love to work with? Why?

-Tapsee. She is a versatile actress and give justice to the character she is playing. I feel that as director, one can mold her as per the character requirement of the movie.

What do you think of OTT?

-As I said, as result of Pandemic, OTT’s proved to be a boon. It is the future of Cinema. OTT offers direct streaming services to viewers. Due to this apart from traditional viewers, target audience is changing who have got different taste which welcomes new content and different movie experience. People are getting more access to web series, short films through this OTT platform. So one should look forward to OTT platform with better scripts and fresh content.

The movie revolves around the story of a village farmer named Gobar who falls in love with a girl named Haldi. Stuck with financial issues and unforeseen conditions the film talks about the struggles of a poor village farmer. Nested inside a small village the film shows the length to which a person can go to win his dream and love. Actor Sujeet Pratap Singh plays a very important character in the film as he is playing Vikas Babu who wants to bring change in Village but due to a lot  of problems in village its very challenging for him.

In a short interaction with the media Sujit Pratap Singh Said, “I come from a family of farmers and so I know the harsh realities and the struggles. I have even faced this situation. That’s why this subject of the movie is very close to my heart and I felt like being a part of it. I tried my level best to bring out the struggles of the farmers on the big screen”.

Noida: The colourful decoration, massive gates, large posters of film makers, well dressed and enthusiastic film lovers adding spiritual energy to the event, were anxiously waiting for this international extravaganza the 14^th Global Film Festival Noida 2021, to start in the campus of Marwah Studio, designed by IFTC-International Film and Television Club in association with AAFT and ICMEI-International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry.

On the occasion of thirty years of Marwah Studios we have brought today 14th edition of Global Film Festival Noida after a gap of more than a year to propagate our mission of bringing Love, Peace and Unity through art and culture. We are proud of our existence in this part of the World as now we have touched 145 countries, 7000 events, thirty lac audience under film tourism, representing 60 countries, 7 World Records and more than 1000 times honoured by the Global Media and Entertainment Industry,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Film Festival inviting and introducing all the dignities on the dice.

“AAFT is the only privileged institution in the country which is on the board of Film Federation of India an apex body of Cinema in the country. My association with Global film festival go back to the third edition, it is indeed the most vibrant festival of the country,” said T.P.Agarwal President FFI in his remarks. while lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“It is beyond above my own expectations; Global Film Festival is the real excitement for film makers. There is so much to learn in three days. I am so happy to be here,” expressed Daisy Shah renowned actor famous for her role in Jai Ho, Hate Story and many others. Writer, Producer, and Director of many films Jyant Gilator wished every one associated with the festival all the best and said that the 14^th edition in itself speaks about the authenticity of the festival. Not many festivals could survive that long,”.

“Every time I learn something new when I am here at Noida Film City. Every event is well designed and speaks about its specialisation. Global Festival has impressed me every time,” added HE Muhamed Cengic, Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina to India. “Marwah Studios is a magical place. It is the volcano of Entertainment. I get spiritual pleasure when I am part of any event of Noida Film City. Festivals are the learning grounds for all of us,” said Cdr. K L Ganju, Hon. Consul Gen, Republic Union of Comoros in India.

“I am convinced when I saw the arrangements, how well defined is the festival though It is my first visit to Noida Film City. I am happy that Indo Fiji Cultural Forum is part of the show,” addressed HE Kamlesh Shashi Prakash, High Commissioner of Fiji to India.

The opening film from Kazakhstan today has given us a bigger and better status in the festival. We are here to give full support to Marwah Studios for the development of relation between two countries,” said HE Nurlan Zhalgasbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to India. “Only last month we were here for our exclusive festival, as the curtain raiser of 14^th Global Film Festival. Now we have very strong relationship with Marwah Studios,” HE Asein Isaev, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan.

“This is what is required to promote cinema, relationship, and learning through soft power. India is above many countries. This festival teaches you a lot. Soon Indo Belarus Film and Cultural Forum be launched,” said HE Andrey Rzheussky, Ambassador of Belarus to India.”It is difficult now to get this kind of marvellous environment in any festival of the World. I wish all the success to the organisers,” said HE Lucmon Bobokalazoda Ambassador of Tajikistan to India.

“I am well-travelled and seen best of the festivals of the World but no festival is as energetic as Global Film Festival Noida. Every time I find unique activities at the festival. Marwah Studios is the pride of India,” said Supran Sen Secretary General of Film Federation of India.
