It seems that Indian Idol season 11 has got one of the finest start today with some outstanding performances by contestants in the auditions.
Amongst the few who stood out were Sunny and Azmat Hussain. Sunny is a shoe polish guy from Punjab who sang an impeccable rendition of Nusrat Ali Khan’s song Afreen Afreen.

Judge Vishal Dadlani too was impressed with his rendition but made him sing another song in his own style. Listening to the young boy, Vishal encouraged him and gave the golden mic which is a ticket to the theatre round directly.
While on the other hand, Azmat Hussain was already a winner of a kid’s singing reality show. He disclosed that he was taken into bad habits and hence was still struggling in life. Azmat’s voice was not upto the mark but he was given a chance by Neha Kakkar and Anu Malik to the next round. But to our surprise, he looked disturbed and felt it was a sympathy gesture by the judges and did not want to pursue singing further in life. At that time, Vishal who had said a no to him; steped in and said that he is just 18 and too young to lose hope.

Vishal added that “we singers are one family & community and we need to be there for one another always. And as I am a senior to you in this family of singers, I order you to get up, buck up and show your best in the next round.” These words of encouragement have made his fans go crazy and in the true sense increased the benchmark of the show. Vishal Dadlani proves that he is the best mentor and judge on Indian television today.

A New Age Production House IdeaRack Ventures Into Television Production With Tara From Satara

The ensemble cast of the show boasts of well-known talent in the industry like National Award-winner Upendra Limaye, who will be seen in the role of Sachin Mane and youth icons Urvashi Pardesi as Radhika and Roshni Walia as Tara. Actor Eva Shirali will be seen essaying the role of Tara’s mother while Amita Khopkar will be seen as the doting Ajji.

Vikas Kapoor’s New Show – Achanak Uss Roz – Filled With Navras To Be On Air From 5 May On Dangal TV
Now a days, TV viewers are bored watching routine “run of the mill” TV soaps practically on most of channel. But now producers Vikas Kapoor and Sarthak Kapoor are going to present new TV show “Achanak Uss Roz”, which will be full of navarasas (9 emotions) under the banner “Daivida Pictures” on “Dangal TV” from 5 May onwards. One hour soap will be telecast at 1 PM on every Sunday. Each episode will be based on new story related to one of the Navarasas including Shringara (love/beauty), Hasya(laughter), Karuna (sorrow), Raudra (anger), Veera(heroism/courage), Bhayanaka (terror/fear), Bibhatsya (disgust), Adbhut (surprise/wonder) and Shantha (peace or tranquility). The stories related to suspense, romance and rebirth have specifically been woven into these episodes to give altogether difference experience to viewers. After her marriage actress Shalini Kapoor is sharing screen space with her husband Rohit Kapoor in this show.
Vikas Kapoor, who has carved out a niche in the film industry after shifting his base from Kanpur to Mumbai and who is known as an uncrowned king of religious TV soaps, is the writer and producer of “Achanak Uss Roz”. He has penned scripts for several super hit soaps including “Om Namoh Shivay”, “Shri Ganesha”, “Shobha Somnath ki”, “Jai Santoshi Maa”, “Man Me Hai Vishwas” and “Sai Bhakton Ki Sacchi Kahania”. Besides he has written many books including “ Sai Ki Atmkatha” and “Kundalini Jagran”. He is also connected with viewers with his program “Science in Hinduism” presented on You Tube Channel.
Commenting on his new show, Mr.Kapoor said that this is new experiment which is being brought into reality as per the suggestion by Dangal TV Managing Director Manish Singhal. This soap will try to show the viewers something new and distinct in every episode. That way “Dangal TV” which tries to show something new is far ahead in TRP rating compared to other channels.
The team of “Achanak Uss Roz”, being produced under the banner “Daivida Pictures”, includes: Writer/ Producer Vikas Kapoor, Producer Sarthak Kapoor, Director Rajiv Bhanot and Anand P Kumar, Creative Producer Sharad Mehta, Creative Head Manzil Srivastav and Music Director Sunil Patni. Apara Mehta, Shalini Kapoor, Rohit Sagar, Rudra Soni, K K Shukla, Twinkle Vasistha, Meet Mukhi and Ajay Mehra are essaying important roles in this show.

Actress Mrinmai Kolwalkar And Anjali Anand On Star Plus Serial Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala
Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala is an Indian musical television series, which is premiere on Star Plus and stream on Hotstar. It features Aakriti Sharma, Mohit Malik, Mrinmai Kolwalkar, Shruti Sharma and Anjali Anand, This show is produced by Gul Khan, Karishma Jain, Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot, It is a remake version of the Bengali language television series Potol Kumar Gaanwala, which was aired on Star Jalsha in 2015. The story follows the journey of a young singing prodigy Kullfi, who sets out to find her father, Sikandar Singh Gill.

Perhaps I was destined to play the character of Susheel: Prachi
Known to bring forth refreshing plots and striking stories, Star Plus is set to air a new show with Prachi Tehlan in the lead. Ikyawann, which will be telecasted during prime time, traces the story of a girl raised by four fathers. While promoting her upcoming show, Prachi mentioned that she feels very connected to her character and also that she was destined to play this role.
‘My character Susheel is very similar to who I am in my real life. Just like Susheel, I preferably wear loose fitting clothes and dress up like boys. Both of us are aggressive personalities with a kind heart. Also, Susheel is confident, big time foodie and loves her father more than anybody else. That’s so like me,” says Prachi.
Prachi was a national level basketball player before she stepped in the television industry. Interestingly, as the story progresses, viewers can see Susheel turning into a sports person as well. Speaking further, Prachi mentions about the concept her character believes in. “Susheel always says that ‘Jo wrong hai wo wrong hai…aur Susheel kabhi wrong nhi hone deti,’ to which I can associate myself.”
The actress, who started her television career from the show Diya aur Baati hum, is blessed with a great height. The already released promos evidently speak of how her height will play a vital role in defining the character.
Speaking about coming on board, Prachi in an interview reveals that she gave the audition for the show a year ago. “It took almost one year for the makers of the show to finalize me. Perhaps I was destined to play this character. Despite looking for other suitable matches, the search ended up on me and I am really grateful for that,” says Prachi.
One can watch this interesting journey of Susheel from November 13 on Star Plus.
शायद सुशील का किरदार मेरे लिए ही लिखा था: प्राची
ताज़ा प्लाट और नयी कहानियों के लिए मशहूर स्टार प्लस प्राची तेहलान के लीड में एक नए शो को शुरू करने जा रहा है। प्राइम टाइम पर टेलीकास्ट होने जा रहे शो इक्यावन की कहानी रक ऐसी लड़की की है जिसे चार पिताओं ने मिलकर पाला है। अपने इस शो को प्रमोट करते हुए प्राची ने बताया कि वो इस किरदार से काफी जुड़ा हुआ महसूस कर रही हैं और उन्हें लगता है कि ये किरदार उनके लिए ही बनाया गया था।
उन्होंने कहा “मेरा करैक्टर सुशील बहुत कुछ वैसा ही है जैसी मैं असल जिंदगी में हूँ। सुशील की तरह ही मुझे ढीले ढाले और लड़कों के कपड़े पहनने का शौक है । हम दोनों की पर्सनालिटी कोमल दिल होने के साथ-साथ आक्रामक है। वही सुशील की ही तरह मैं भी कॉंफिडेंट, फूडी हूँ और अपने पिता से बहुत प्यार करती हूं। ये सब मेरे जैसा ही है।”
टीवी इंडस्ट्री में आने से पहले प्राची राष्ट्रीय स्तर की बास्केटबॉल खिलाड़ी रह चुकी हैं । मज़ेदार बात ये है कि कहानी जैसे जैसे आगे बढ़ेगी, दर्शक सुशील को एक खिलाड़ी बनते हुए देखेंगे। प्राची आगे बताते हुए बताती हैं, “ सुशील हमेशा कहती है ‘जो गलत है, वो गलत है… और सुशील कभी गलत होने नही देती” मैं खुद को इस बात से जोड़ पाती हूँ।
दिया बाती से अपने टीवी कैरियर की शुरुवात करने वाली अभिनेत्री प्राची की हाइट बहुत अच्छी है। शो के प्रोमो में पहले ही इस बात को उजागर करते हुए बताया दिया गया है कि कैसे उनकी हाइट इस शो में महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगी। शो में एंट्री को लेकर प्राची ने बताया कि उन्हीने इसके लिए एक साल पहले ऑडिशन दिया था और शो मेकर्स को मुझे फाइनल करने में एक साल लग गए। शायद ये किरदार मुझे ही मिलना था क्योंकि कोई और ढूंढने के बजाए उन्होंने मुंह चुना और मैं इसके लिए हमीहा आभारी रहूंगी। आप सुशील की इस दिलचस्प यात्रा को 13 तारीख से स्टार प्लस पर देख सकते हैं।
